WOwww  what a win this has been for INDIA  after that Adelaide disappointment which never seen before in this decade which is going to end. One of character, temperment, commitment and an outstanding grit. Who would've thought they would respond in such a manner after a massive collapse in such manner that India did after that loss in the opening Test?

Ajinkya Rahane the stand by captain who led from the front with a spectacular century to give India a solid lead before the bowlers once again did the job for India as they did in the past over some years. Both debutants Siraj and Gill shine through with Siraj getting among the wickets, while Gill batter superbly like the world class batsmen and led the team in the chase to a wonderful and an historic chase after a massive collapse

Australia's monsters in the world cricket right now justt struggle a little bit with the bat showed up once again. They have some positives to take from the loss, however the bowlers bowled beautifully in parts, but were left unrewarded because of poor fielding, Cameron Green was impressive, and the lower order stood up with the bat to keep them alive.

All in all, it was a spectacular game for India with Australia losing the plot after that extraordinary performance which no one in this world didn't expect.

Harsha Bhogle: This will go down as one of India's most memorable test wins. Winning a test in Australia is always special but to do so given the wounds of Adelaide and the absence of key players makes it one for the ages
INDIA win due to the tons of tons from AJINKYA RAHANE

As far as hundreds go they all just say one in the hundreds column but some are better than others and that will go down as one of the all-time great Boxing Day hundreds from Rahane,” Shane Warne said on Fox Cricket. “Given the conditions, given the situation of the game, given the quality of the bowling, the way the pitch has nipped around, put all those into the mix. That’s where the stats don’t change, it just goes down as one hundred but it’s a lot more than that.”
